For thousands of years man has looked to the heavens for insight into his life purpose. Astrology is the result of this long quest for understanding. Its basic principle is that by observing the movements of the planets we can gain insights into the unfolding of events here on Earth and within ourselves.
An Astrology birth chart is a map of the heavens when you begin your life, and it can detail many things about a person's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual makeup, along with showing the upcoming times for opportunity and challenge.
GiGi Sosnoski has been giving professional Astrological readings to clients from all walks of life and from all over the world for more than 20 years, and has developed a deep intuitive sense of charts through her practice and experience. She learned over the years that most people – even those who are outwardly successful – lock themselves in to negative views of their selves and their situations, which became self-fulfilling prophecies.
GiGi found this extremely frustrating – she could feel the wonderful potential implied for each person in their birth chart, and for so much of that potential to go to waste through lack of faith was like throwing away a gift of the gods.
From her need to see people actualize more of their potential, GiGi has developed a form of reading which she calls 'Motivational Astrology'. In her own words, “I 'feel' people's charts as well as mathematically calculate and Astrologically interpret them. To me, each chart is an image of the heavens at the time, date and place that a person was born - as individual as a finger print or snow flake! It paints a beautiful picture of the soul growth, creative potential and transformational energy of the human being.. My life's joy is sharing this beauty with others through my readings, helping them to understand the possibilities they have at their command. That's why I named my business 'Keep Looking Up! '”.
By all accounts, GiGi's readings are uplifting and inspirational. It's the nature of the inspiration that really distinguishes GiGi from most readers or motivational consultants, though. Guided by the birth chart, she's able to pinpoint each client's strengths and weaknesses with uncanny accuracy, and give them a preview of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
Now happily settled in Kapiti, GiGi was born in Los Angles, California and then spent most of her life in New York City. Comfortable established in the glamorous New York lifestyle, her life changed one day when she shook hands with a visiting software developer from Seattle and heard an inner voice say “This is the man you will marry.”
After a few months of “Sleepless in Seattle”-style coast-to-coast dating GiGi said goodbye to New York and made the move to the soggy forests of Seattle, where she soon fulfilled the voice's promise. Ten years later she and her soulmate together moved to New Zealand.
